This course will cover the requirements of the Standards of Training Certificate and Watchkeeping (STCW) Convention of 1978. It will provide the student a thorough knowledge of the application of the Collision Regulations and the principles to be observed in keeping a navigational watch in a simulated environment while using electronic aids to plot the vessel's position and progress.
