The Management Skills for Supervisors program is a comprehensive, three‑part professional training series designed to strengthen and enhance day‑to‑day supervisory and leadership abilities. The program is ideal for new and emerging supervisors, team leads, administrators, project leaders, and department heads across business, industry, public service, and not‑for‑profit sectors. Delivered over 12 days, the in-person program is structured into three four‑day modules, typically spaced about one month apart. This pacing allows participants to apply new concepts on the job between sessions and return with real‑world experience to build upon.

Participants who complete all three modules earn a Vancouver Island University Certificate and receive academic credit toward select VIU certificate, diploma, and degree programs.
